The easiest way to compare caterers before you hire them

Is insured
Maintains at least a 4 star out of 5 review status
Rule #1 – Get more than one quote. You want to be able to compare and make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck.
Rule #2 – Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Be specific about your needs when interviewing caterers. Caterers should be able to propose menus and make estimates of cost on a price-per-guest basis and specific
to your individual requests.
Rule #3 - Once you've narrowed down your search, meet with the caterers. While price is important, ensuring that you'll have a good working relationship with your caterer is equally so.
There are a couple quick things you can do to protect yourself. First, read the caterers' reviews right here at CateringReviews.org. Our reviews are unbiased and we print the good as well as the bad. You'll find here the honest opinion of other customers of that catering company. We also pre-screen our catering members and check their credentials.
If you want to go a few steps further, check the caterer's Better Business Bureau rating and confirm that they are licensed and insured. You can do this by requesting the appropriate documentation from the caterer and then verifying it with the issuing organization.
